Rowan County Sheriff’s Office investigate deadly shooting
ROWAN COUNTY, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that happened early Saturday morning.
According to a post on the Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, Morehead 911 were called around 12:30 a.m. for a man who had been shot on Oak Grove Road and was in need of an ambulance.
Officials say when police arrived, they found 28-year-old Nicholas Clevenger inside.
The Rowan County Coroner pronounced him dead at the scene.
He was transported to the Frankfort Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
Officials say there is no threat to the public.
