Rowan County school bus involved in collision, no children hurt

MOREHEAD, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Rowan County school bus with 32 children onboard was involved in a collision Tuesday afternoon, according to State Police. Fortunately, no one was hurt, according to KSP. Investigators say the bus driver, 46-year old Cheryl Carroll, of Morehead, crossed the centerline as she rounded a curve on McBrayer Road around 3:30 p.m.

State Police say the school bus was struck in the left rear panel by a vehicle headed in the opposite direction that was driven by 21-year old Jorian Tavon Johnson-Taylor, of Troy, Ohio.

The accident remains under investigation.
