Rockslide closes portion of KY 15 in Knott County
KNOTT COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Fallen rocks have closed a portion of KY 15 in Knott County.
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 12 reports its in an area, prone to rockfalls near the junction of KY 15 and KY 160. The district says it removed some large rocks from the top of the hill last year.
Crews say it will take a couple of hours to move the rocks to the shoulder of the road and clear the highway for traffic.
