UPDATE: Suspect arrested following Saturday road-rage shooting
UPDATE: 9:00 P.M.
Lexington police have made an arrest in connection with a shooting earlier today on Versailles Road.
LPD says they arrested 24-year-old Kevin Lopez-Martinez. He was charged with Assault 2nd Degree and Criminal Mischief 1st Degree and is currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.
Police say flock license plate readers helped them catch the suspect.
Police say officers were dispatched to the 2300 block of Versailles Road for a shooting with a victim around 2:37 A.M. Saturday.
When they arrived, they located a man who had been shot. from a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with reported non-life-threatening injuries. The shooting stemmed from a road rage incident.

Lexington, Ky. (WTVQ) — Police are investigating after a road-rage shooting early Saturday morning.
Officials were called to the Speedway on Versailles Rd. around 2:37 a.m. Saturday morning , for a victim that had been shot.
Upon arrival officers found a male victim.
LPD says he was taken to the hospital with reported non-life threatening injuries.
Officials say the victim had been shot somewhere on Versailles Rd. and then drove to the Speedway.
Police do not have any suspect information at this time.
