Richmond PD welcomes new K-9 unit

RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Richmond Police Department introduced the community to their newest member of the force by way of a Facebook post on Monday.

“Rush,” the department’s newest K-9 unit is now officially a member of the department.

The Facebook post says Rush is a dual purpose dog, specializing in drug detection and patrol.

Rush will partner up with K-9 Officer Chip Gray.
