REVISED: Bridge project starts on September 13 in Harlan County
HARLAN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 11 Office advises motorists that a bridge replacement project in Harlan County starts on Monday, September 13.
This project will replace the Breedens Creek Road Bridge over Breedens Creek. The bridge will be closed during construction and traffic will utilize a temporary onsite diversion. Construction will take up to 45 days.
The new bridge is expected to open to traffic by Friday, November 12.
Bridging Kentucky is a program to improve the safety and soundness of the Commonwealth’s bridges by rehabilitating, repairing, or replacing critical bridges throughout the state.
