Restored Plane Soars Over Lexington

You can party like it’s 1929.

A restored Ford Tri-Motor airplane is in Lexington, and offering flights Tuesday and Wednesday for 80 dollars apiece.

The plane is parked at the Aviation Museum at Blue Grass Airport. ABC 36 News took a flight on Monday. The plane is one of the first all-metal aircraft ever built, and became the standard used by airlines during the 1930s.
