After reports of thefts from vehicles, Berea police encourage online reports

BEREA, Ky. (WTVQ) – After recent reports of thefts from vehicles, the Berea Police Department is encouraging people to make reports online.

The police department says some people have reported that their vehicles were rummaged through, but nothing was taken.

Police say if you notice that someone has been inside your vehicle, whether something was taken or not, you can file an online report. They say reports can be filed online as long as what was taken is valued under $500.

According to the police department, each online report is reviewed by an officer.

If you have question, or if you prefer to file a report in person, contact the department.

Berea police remind you to lock vehicles, and not to leave valuables inside.
