UPDATE: 4 more arrested in Franklin Co. double murder
UPDATE: FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ)- A total of five people have now been arrested by Frankfort Police for a double murder.
Frankfort Police Chief Travis Ellis says there is a chance more arrests will be made and more charges will come on some of these suspects.
Frankfort Police have arrested Morgan Crutchfield, Leroy Love, Bricelyn Leake, Juanita Durrum, and Rakiethieus Wesley. All five are charged with murder and 1st degree robbery.
All suspects are lodged at the Franklin County Detention Center.
FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – A suspect in a double murder in Frankfort is behind bars.
According to the State Journal newspaper, Frankfort Police arrested 23-year-old Morgan Crutchfield on Friday morning.
Crutchfield is charged with murder and robbery.
Crutchfield is accused of murdering 24-year-old Dustin Johnson and 22-year-old Jaren Miles Moore, according to the State-Journal.
The two were found shot late last month at a home in the 300 block of Alexander Street in Frankfort.
The Frankfort Police Department says it will hold a press conference at 3 p.m. Friday on the case.
