Repairs to power lines, downed poles underway in Madison County

MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – State transportation cabinet officials said KY 1617 in Madison County will be blocked, while repairs continue on powerlines and downed power poles.

According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC), barriers are being placed at each end of the road to block vehicles from entering except for local traffic.

KYTC said the power company advised it may be the end of the day before repairs are finished.
