Registered sex offender accused of making threats against children

DANVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police arrest a registered sex offender in Danville after they say he made sexually-explicit threats against children.

The Danville Police Department says it received a complaint Wednesday about a man who called the Little Lighthouse Daycare, Bate Middle School, and the First Care Clinic from a blocked number and made sexually-explicit threats against children and employees.

Police say they worked with phone providers and were able to find out who made the calls.

Officers later arrested 31-year-old Jermaine Buster after making a traffic stop near Perkins Avenue.

Buster is charged with terroristic threatening.
