Reed Valley Orchard, Bourbon County’s Fall Paradise

PARIS, Ky. (WTVQ) – Reed Valley Orchard is Bourbon County’s own piece of paradise. A one stop shop for trail rides, apple and berry picking and a country store, this orchard’s setting is serene and peaceful. Guests are welcome to pick their own fruits directly off the bushes, brambles and trees. They can also pack a picnic lunch and visit the store packed with freshly homemade goodies!

In 1988, owners Dana and Trudie Reed planted their first trees. Over the years they have accumulated over 3,000 apple trees, as well as pumpkins, berries, peaches and pears.

The orchard has received several acknowledgements, including a mention in in the book Romantic Kentucky, written by Sutton & Salisbury, a feature in Southern Living and an article in Country Journal Magazine.

Upcoming special events include Country Harvest Trail Rides every Saturday in October. Reed Valley Orchard is open from June to early December.
