Recycle your Christmas tree and help Kentucky lakes

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Planning on throwing out that old Christmas tree? Why not recycle it and help out some fish?

The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources will take your natural tree and drop it into lakes across the state, to help create fish habitats.

The department has several points across the state to drop off your tree.
