Quiet start to work week ahead of Tuesday night’s storms
Monday starts the work week with sunshine and highs around average in the low 50s. Clouds will increase Monday night and southerly winds will help temps stay above average in the upper 30s/ low 40s.
Tuesday we will have highs in the low/mid 60s with mostly cloudy skies, as a cold front approaches bringing our next chance for showers and thunderstorms Tuesday night. Rain chances continue throughout the day Wednesday with highs likely in the upper 50s. Things take a quick turn overnight Wednesday and early morning Thursday, as a mix of rain and snow is expected briefly.
Precipitation is expected to exit the area early Thursday, giving a quiet end to the work week with highs on Thursday below average in the mid 40s and picking up to the mid 50s by Friday.
Rain chances return Friday night and Saturday. Weekend temps stay slightly above average in the low/mid 50s.
