Pulaski County woman wanted for theft and arson arrested in Ohio

WINCHESTER, OH (WTVQ) – A Pulaski County woman accused of breaking into a business, stealing money and setting the building on fire, was arrested in Ohio on Monday.

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office says 56-year old Norma Jean Walker, of Nancy, broke-in to Henderson Fuel in Nancy in the early morning hours of Monday.

Deputies say after Walker stole “a large quantity of money,” she set the business on fire.

Investigators say the fire was contained and the building suffered minor damage.

Deputies say a warrant was issued for Walker’s arrest and she was taken into custody in Winchester, Ohio.

She was charged with Burglary 3rd Degree, Theft by Unlawful Taking Over $10,000 and Arson 2nd Degree, according to deputies.

She was being held in the Brown County Jail in Ohio, waiting to be brought back to Kentucky to face charges.  Her bond was set at $75,000 full cash, according to deputies.
