Public meeting for Chemical Weapons group

RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) — A public meeting will be held in Richmond on Wednesday, June 8, to educate about and discuss the Blue Grass Chemical Agent – Destruction Pilot Plant. (BGCAPP), which is a facility meant to destroy the chemical weapons stored at the Blue Grass Army Depot.

Information packets will be provided, and the public will be invited to comment throughout the meeting. For those not able to attend, there will be a live video stream available on their Youtube channel: here

The meeting will be hosted in the Carl D. Perkins Building at Eastern Kentucky University – in rooms A and B.

Kit Carson Drive, Richmond, Ky.

According to their release, parking will be available at the Perkins building, and is accessible to people with disabilities.
