Public forum to discuss future of former Romany Road Kroger site

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) -A community forum has been arranged to discuss what will happen to the Kroger building on Romany Road in Lexington.

The Kroger at that location will close for good this Saturday, but Urban County Councilmember Bill Farmer says the lease isn’t up until September 2016.  Instead of leaving the building empty for a year, Farmer is inviting the public to a forum next Tuesday to take questions and discuss ideas for a new tenant.

The forum will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Christ the King on Colony Boulevard.
