Production Underway In Ohio On Super Bowl Footballs

Even though the Bengals and Browns aren’t in the upcoming Super Bowl, Ohio will be well represented because the footballs that will be used in the big game are being made at a Wilson Sporting Goods plant in Ada, Ohio.

It’s something that brings the company great pride.

"I think it is our factory’s finest moment, when the kickoff the Super Bowl.  I mean, that is the biggest sporting event in the world, every year.  And, the fact that that ball they’re kicking off came from Ada, Ohio, was made by people who work hard every day, just really makes us all proud," said Dan Riegle, Wilson Sporting Goods Plant Manager.

The company makes 700,000 footballs a year at the plant.
