Princeton teenager charged with murder
EDDYVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – State Police charged a Princeton teenager with murder after a body was found in a home in Lyon County on Tuesday.
Troopers say 51-year old Lisa Pace, of Eddyville, was found shot to death in a home on Oak Drive around 7:00 p.m.
State Police say 19-year old Ernest Atwood, Junior, of Princeton, was stopped while driving Lisa Pace’s car in Hopkins County.
He was arrested by Madisonville Police and charged with DUI around 3:35 p.m. Tuesday, three and a half hours before Pace’s body was found, according to KSP. Atwood was lodged in the Hopkins County Jail on the DUI charge, according to investigators.
In the wee hours of Wednesday, State Police charged Atwood with Pace’s murder. Troopers say Pace and Atwood are distantly related family members.
