Power Back Up And Running At Boyle County Courthouse

Things are getting back to normal at the Boyle County Courthouse after a lightning strike caused all sorts of technical problems earlier this week.

The County Judge-Executive’s office says the strike damaged several different circuits, leaving most of the services in the building, without phones or internet service. Those affected included the Sheriff’s Office and the Circuit Clerk.

The phones were turned back on Thursday, which meant the Sheriff’s office could once again receive 9-1-1 calls. While the phones were down, the calls were routed through Frankfort.
