Pothole patching on I-64 could delay trips to Louisville
SHELBY COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists of maintenance work scheduled on I-64 in Jefferson and Shelby Counties beginning June 30.
Crews will be in-place patching along portions of the interstate and lane closures are possible in many locations between mile marker 22 to mile marker 24 (Jefferson County) and mile marker 24.1 to mile marker 28 (Shelby County).
Work will begin on Wednesday, June 30 and continue through the morning of Friday, July 2 between the hours of 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Then, work will resume at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6 and continue through 7 a.m. on Wednesday, July 7.
Signs in the area will notify drivers of the work. Motorists should heed signage while moving through the work zone.
The date and duration of this work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
