Potential Traffic Jams Around Bluegrass Fair

The Lions Club Bluegrass Fair kicks off Thursday at Masterson Station Park for it’s 53rd year.

Officials are expecting some 50,000 visitors to the fair over it’s ten day run. With construction on Leestown Road, that could make for some major driving headaches.

Here are some alternatives that may get you to the fair a little faster.

  • The back entrance to the park off of Spirr Road will be open to enter and exit the fair.
  • Motorists may also take Old Frankfort Pike to Yarnaltown Pike to Leestown, then turn right on Leestown and left into the park.
  • Drivers can also take Alexandria Drive to Trailwood Lane, the turn left onto Trailwood, and then a right onto McConnells Trace. Take McConnells Trace straight across Leestown into the fair.
