Postal Service sets job fairs to fill Lexington-area positions

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Postal Service is preparing now for another busy holiday season, as online shopping and shipping continue to increase and package growth expands.

Right now, it is looking for committed and motivated individuals to join us in our mission of service to your local community and the nation through the holidays and beyond.

The Postal Service in Lexington is hosting two job fairs to fill immediate openings for the positions of city carrier assistants, postal support employees, and rural carrier associates. Starting salary is between $18.51 and $19.06 per hour.

Both job fairs will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021 at the following locations:

Bluegrass Station 3525 Lansdowne Drive, Lexington, KY 40517 10am-12pm
Gardenside Station 1729 Alexandria Drive, Lexington, KY 40514 2pm-4pm

Applicants must be 18 years of age and be able to pass drug screening and a criminal background investigation.
