Post Office location temporarily closed to customers

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Following an accident at the Liberty Road Station Post Office, the Retail window service has been suspended until further notice.

Thursday evening, a customer drove through the glass front of the Station, located at 2041 Creative Drive.  The accident caused damage to the customer entrance and Post Office Box lobby.  Officials say the area is currently unsafe for customers and employees.

PO Box customers are asked to go to the carrier entrance to pick up their mail until repairs are complete.  The carrier entrance is located in the front of building, to the right of the lobby entrance.

Retail customers are asked to visit other Lexington offices until further notice.  Address information for other Postal locations can be found on www.usps.com, under Find USPS Locations.
