Pop bottle cited in London car crash
LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Laurel Co. Sheriff says that a pop bottle that lodged under the brake pedal of a car caused a crash on KY 472, about two miles east of London on Tuesday.
According to the Sheriff, at about 1:00 p.m., a car traveling westbound rounded a left hand curve when the bottle jammed under the brake pedal. Unable to stop, the driver went off the left side of the road and hit a culvert.
The driver, 20-year-old Cody Dean Baker, of Manchester, was taken to the London St. Joseph Hospital for treatment.
