Police: Woman left children alone while out driving impaired

GRAY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A woman in Knox County is accused of leaving her children home alone in the middle of the night while she was out driving under the influence, according to police.

Investigators say 36-year old Natasha Henderson, of Gray, left a three-year old and eight-year old child behind while she was out driving recklessly while impaired.

Police say the three-year old was inside the home, but the eight-year old was left outside in the yard around 3:00 a.m. Thursday.

Investigators say the children were removed from the home by social services.

Henderson was jailed on child endangerment charges, according to police.
