Police: Woman cuts daughter in confrontation

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A woman is in jail in Lexington accused of cutting her daughter during a confrontation.

Police say Cynthia Stone went to her daughter’s house on Polo Club Boulevard around 10:30 Monday morning to confront her daughter about money she owed her son.

Officers say the two got into a fight and Cynthia took a knife from the waistband of her pants and cut her daughter’s hand.

They say they arrested Cynthia on East 5th Street around 1:30 the same afternoon.

She’s charged with assault.
