Police: Two Men On Run After Robbing Lexington Gas Station

Lexington Police said the Shell Station on New Circle Road near Russell Cave Road was robbed Sunday night.

Officers said two men walked into the store around 10:20 p.m. and threatened to stab the clerk if they didn’t get cash and cigarettes.

According to police, once those suspects got what they wanted, they ran to a nearby Burger King parking lot.

They said the two men jumped inside a red Jeep Cherokee and drove off.

Investigators said one of the mean was wearing a red letterman jacket with the name “Cody” on the front.

The other suspect had on a camouflage Adidas hooded sweatshirt.
