Police: Two injured in Scott County accident

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ/NEWS GRAPHIC) – The Georgetown Police worked a two vehicle collision Sunday morning just after 7 a.m.

According to the police the accident happened on I-75 South Bound at mile marker 122 in Scott County. The News Graphic is reporting two men were seriously injured in that crash.

The paper says a SUV rear-ended a Dodge Neon, sending the Neon into a ditch. Two people inside the Neon were taken to UK Hospital for their injuries, according to the paper.

Officials told them the Neon was either stopped or driving slow when it was struck. No charges will be filed.
