Police: Suspect caught at scene of Danville burglary

DANVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man is under arrest, accused of breaking into a Danville business.

The Danville Police Department says it got a call around 7:45 a.m. Tuesday about a burglary in progress at the Danville Bistro at 815 Perryville Street.

When they got there, officers spotted a man matching the description of the burglar.

Police say they arrested 49-year-old Russell Randolph at the scene.

They say Randolph tried to get into the building using tools to pry open a door.

Randolph was arrested and charged with burglary, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of burglary tools and tampering with physical evidence.
