Police: Shots fired after two women argue over boyfriend

Authorities say that same man handed over a gun to one of the women to shoot the other at Russell Cave Plaza Sunday around 11 p.m.  Police say the woman fired several shots in the other woman’s direction, but none of the bullets hit her.

Police say the woman was injured when the bullets ricocheted off the ground and bullet fragments hit her leg. Authorities say the victim was treated at the scene and is expected to recover.

Police say they are now searching for the shooter and the man who fled the scene in a white Nissan Altima.
