Police searching for person of interest related to Madison Co. death

RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Richmond Police Department is searching for a man in connection to the death of 52-year-old Tammy Alexander.

According to police, 61-year-old Thomas “Gene” Mason is a person of interest in the case.

Alexander was found dead in her apartment on Villa Drive on Nov. 15, after having suffered a gunshot wound to the head, according to police.

The coroner calls Alexander’s death suspicious.

According to police, Mason has several felony warrants against him, including DUI and drug possession.

Police explain if you see Mason, do not approach him. He is considered to be armed and dangerous.

Police say Mason is known to drive a 1994 Toyota Corolla with Kentucky registration of 675-WYD.
