UPDATE: Man accused of robbing local bank arrested in Alabama
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Lexington Police say the man they were looking for yesterday has been caught and arrested for robbing a Lexington bank.
Police have arrested 26-year-old Maxwell Hayslip in a parking lot in Huntsville, Alabama.
The Huntsville Police Department says Hayslip was found passed out in a car and was found to be under the influence of narcotics. They say after searching the car, they found evidence connecting him to Tuesday’s robbery of Chase bank.
Police say Hayslip is also possibly connected to other bank robberies that occurred in Kentucky and Tennessee.
He is currently lodged in the Madison County, Alabama Jail.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington police are searching for a man they say robbed a local bank.
According to police, it happened on Tuesday at Chase Bank on Nicholasville Road.
Bank employees tell officers a man came in the bank, handing the teller a threatening note demanding money.
Police say the teller gave the man money and he ran away from the scene.
Investigators have released surveillance pictures of the suspect. Tellers told police the man is dressed in a grey sports coat, khaki pants and a black beanie hat.
