UPDATE: Accused police shooter arrested after standoff in Ohio

ERLANGER, Ky. (WTVQ)- Police say the man accused of shooting at officers on June 6th has been arrested after a 4-hour standoff in Cincinnati.

Police say Jacob Julick had been on the run for three weeks.

The Northern Kentucky News says Julick was seen in Latonia on Saturday, but was able to get away from police.

ERLANGER, Ky. (CNN) – Authorities in Erlanger are on the lookout for a man who shot at police.

The suspect is 27-year-old Jacob Ray Julick.

According to CNN, his mother is pleading for him to surrender.

Police say he shot at officers during a traffic stop Thursday morning.

No injuries were reported.

The driver was taken into custody but police say Julick, the passenger, took off.

Nearby residents and businesses, a library, school and rec center went on lock down.

The shelter-in-place orders were lifted by noon.
