MAYFIELD, Ky. (WTVQ) — State Police are searching for 34-year-old Timothy Richardson, who they say escaped from Fulton County Detention Center early Wednesday morning.

They say he is 5’11”, 190 pounds, brown hair, hazel eyes, and normally wears glasses.

They also say he has a beard and tattoos all over his body.

Officials say KSP found his jail clothes outside of the jail and believe he is now wearing an unknown type of civilian clothing.

They say Richardson is possibly wearing a pair of Nike tennis shoes, gray in color.

According to police, he was serving a sentence for wanton endangerment against a police officer, among other charges.

Police say Richardson has previously been convicted of auto theft, so KSP is encouraging everyone to ensure they lock their cars and to immediately report any unusual activity in the area.

If you see him, call police immediately.
