Police: Pizza delivery driver set up to be robbed

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington police say a pizza delivery driver was set up to get robbed.

Police say someone called Papa John’s and placed an order Monday night.

When the driver showed up at the address in the 300 block of North Martin Luther King Boulevard, no one answered.

Police say instead, two men came up behind him, demanded the pizzas that were ordered and his money.

They say one of the suspects had a gun.

The suspects took off after getting several pizzas and some cash.

Police say the driver was not hurt.
