Police: Pedestrian hit by car in Woodford County

VERSAILLES, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police say a pedestrian is in critical condition after being hit by a car in Woodford County Sunday.

The Versailles Police Department says officers were called to US 60 Bypass for an accident involving a pedestrian around 8:21 p.m.

The person who was hit was sent to the University of Kentucky Hospital, according to police.

Police say the name of the pedestrian is not being released until the family is notified.
