Police: Neighbors Stop Robbery
Some neighbors jumped in and stopped two men from being robbed on a Lexington street Sunday.
The men were walking down Ward Drive just before 9:30 p.m. when two suspects approached them wearing black bandanas on their faces, according to police.
They said one of the suspects pulled out a gun and demanded items from the men.
Police said that’s when several onlookers saw what was happening and chased the suspects.
Police said this was the third robbery or attempted robbery on this street in the past three days.
