Lexington Police need help finding hit-and-run drivers

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Three days after a woman was seriously injured after being hit by a car, Lexington Police are pleading for help identifying potential hit-and-run drivers.

According to police, at about 8:52 p.m. March 2, a woman was found on the road between Georgetown Road between Lima Drive and Keller Court.

Witnesses told police the woman was possibly struck by a red “boxy-shaped vehicle” that left the scene. The woman may have been struck a second time by a black passenger vehicle; the driver of that second car may not have known they hit the woman.

Lexington Police who might have seen something or have information to call the Hit and Run Unit at (859) 258-3617.
