Police: More Alleged Abuse Victims Coming Forward in Twin Brothers Case

Lexington Police are reporting more tips and information are coming in about brothers Jack and Jerry Cassidy since their arrests last week.

Officials said some of the information is from people identifying themselves as victims who suffered abuse from the Cassidys.

According to investigators, at least one suspected victim has come forward since the 76-year-old brothers were taken into custody, and they think more victims may be out there.

After obtaining search warrants, police said they found hundreds of images, documents and other evidence in the Cassidy’s home that leads them to believe the alleged child abuse took place until 1985.

According to court documents, the brothers have each admitted to at least one instance of engaging in sex acts with boys under the age of 15. The alleged incidents occurred back in 1975.
