Police: Man found shot in a car at a Berea mall

BEREA, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police say a man was found shot in a car in a parking lot in Berea on Thursday.

Berea Police say they received a call around 12:05 p.m. about a shooting in the parking lot of the Boone Square Mini-Mall.

Police arrived and say they found a man suffering from a gun shot wound. He was taken to the University of Kentucky Hospital, according to officers.

His condition has not been released.

Authorities say they are interviewing a person of interest in the case.
