Police: Man arrested for making threats toward Northern Kentucky schools

FLORENCE, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Florence Police Department has arrested a man who they say is accused of making threats toward Northern Kentucky area schools. Police say the threats weren’t directed toward a specific school.

Police were able to locate 19-year-old Billy Jones and arrest him Monday. Investigators say they found a stolen handgun inside the apartment he had been staying in.

Jones is lodged at the Kenton County Detention Center and charged with terroristic threatening and receiving stolen property.
