Police: Man Arrested in Lexington Murder

A man has been arrested in connection to Lexington’s 14th homicide of the year, court documents said.

According to court documents, Lexington Police arrested Nathan Miller, 19, on Thursday morning. He’s charged with Friday’s murder of Jeffrey Adams, 19.

Police said this murder was a result of a drug deal gone bad.

Adams was shot multiple times in the second floor breezeway of an apartment complex on McCullough Drive, police told ABC 36 News.

Miller, along with others, arranged to meet Adams for a drug transaction, the arrest citation said. It was during that meeting where Adams was shot several times.

Miller and the others took personal items from Adams after he was shot and ran from the scene, court documents said.
