Police: Man arrested for public intoxication, forgery

RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) — Richmond police took a man into custody on June 9, for public intoxication.

Found walking down Norwood Drive, 25-year-old Caleb Chavez was arrested and later found to be in possession of a forged Permanent Alien card.

Officers say he also had a social security card that appeared to be forged.

Police say Chavez was further charged for Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the first degree, and is now lodged in MCDC.

Officials say the U.S. Office of Immigration and Customs Enforcement was alerted, and has begun a follow-up investigation.
