Police: Man and juvenile arrested after robbery and attempted robbery
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police say they have made arrests in a robbery and an attempted robbery in Lexington over the weekend. According to police, they happened within 10 minutes of each other.
Arrested in connection to those crimes are 20-year-old, Denzell J. Manning and a juvenile. They were taken into custody on Saturday. Police say the two attempted to rob a person on East Reynolds Road at around 4 p.m. Later, police received another call about a robbery in the 3500 block of Laredo.
When police got on the scene they noticed someone walking in the area matching the description of the suspect in the attempted robbery. They say they apprehended both suspects and the victims positively identified Manning and the juvenile. Manning is charged with two counts of robbery, wanton endangerment and fleeing police. There is no word on the charges against the juvenile. Police say the investigation is ongoing.
