Police looking for man after chase in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Law enforcement is looking for a man after he led police on a chase in Lexington.

According to Kentucky State Police, a Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Officer tried to pull over a man driving a gray truck on Interstate, near the I-75/I-64 split.

Officers say the driver got off at Exit 115, Newtown Pike, and left the truck in a field near Providence Place Parkway.

The driver ran away, leaving a woman and a baby girl behind.

Police do know who the man is, but they have not been able to find him yet.

KSP, Lexington Police and Commercial Vehicle Enforcement are all assisting in the search.
