Police looking for man who attacked a sportswriter

BELL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- Police in Bell County are looking for a man who reportedly attacked a sportswriter in his home this week.

According to the Middlesboro Daily News, a man named Harold Hatfield stabbed Southeast Kentucky Community College professor Jamie Vaught three times in the neck and chest, then ran away.

Police are still looking for Hatfield.

The paper reports Vaught says he needed stitches, but is otherwise doing okay.
