Police: Lexington man accidentally shoots himself in the foot

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Lexington man was taken to the hospital Wednesday night after accidentally shooting himself in the foot, according to Lexington Police.

Investigators say it happened in an apartment in the 800 block of Augusta Court around 9:50 p.m.

The man’s name wasn’t released.

The circumstances surrounding the accidental shooting weren’t released.
