Police: Laurel County man sexually assaults, threatens woman

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Laurel County man is accused of sexual assaulting a woman and killing her cat.

According to the London Police Department, 57-year-old Danny Christopher Farris, of East Bernstadt, was arrested Monday.

Police say Farris sexually assaulted the woman, pointed a gun at her and threatened to kill her and killed her cat.

The incidents happened between August 20-24, 2017, according to police.

Farris is charged him with wanton endangerment, sexual abuse, cruelty to animals and assault.
