Police investigating after skimmer found on Wayne Co. ATM

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A skimmer device has been found on an ATM in Wayne County, according to Kentucky State Police.

According to KSP Post 11 in London, a bank in Monticello reported finding a skimmer device on one of its ATMs around 8:45 Saturday evening.

KSP says video surveillance shows a man putting the skimmer device on the machine, and a woman taking the device off several hours later.

Further investigation, according to state police, shows the two people also placed a skimmer device on an ATM in Pulaski County.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information regarding the two suspects is asked to call Kentucky State Police at 606-878-6622 or 1-800-222-5555.
